THE
POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER
The
Intrepid Group organized four media tours for
the Polynesian Cultural Center (three to Hawaii
and one to New York), which resulted in more
than $5 million in media advertising equivalent
publicity. Coverage included a cover story in
Delta Airline’s Sky magazine, appearances
on CBS’s “The Early Show”
and “Fox and Friends,” segments
on PRI’s “Marketplace” and
“Savvy Traveler,” and articles in
RedBook, Luxury Las Vegas, Salt Lake magazine,”
The Salt Lake Tribune, The Deseret Morning News,
Provo Daily Herald and The Ensign. In addition,
a documentary about the Center produced during
LDS General Conference was viewed by a television
audience of more than 2 million.
